Please note that the Lasergrip 1080 is not intended for use on humans. It has a wide temperature range of -58°–1130°F / -50°–610°C and provides quick results in just 500 milliseconds. Additionally, the display shows the maximum temperature of the surface being measured, making it perfect for professional use.

The thermometer's professional EMS mode allows for precise readings across different surfaces, with an adjustable emissivity range of 0.1–1.0. For additional safety, the Lasergrip has a 12:1 distance-to-spot ratio, ensuring accurate measurements from a distance.

Other useful features include a backlit LCD screen, unit conversion (°F/°C), auto-off function to conserve battery life, and a low battery indicator.
